June M. Porter's Obituary
June Porter went home to be with her Lord on August 29, 2022.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 10th at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Memphis, TN. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. The Service will begin at 1:00 PM with burial immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery. A reception will be held after the service and burial at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in the gymnasium.
June is preceded in death by her husband, William Porter, and daughter-in-law, Sally Porter.
She is survived by son, Kemper Porter and granddaughter, Madeline, of Jackson, MS; daughter, Lynee’ Porter, of Palmyra, PA; grandchildren, Ethan and Chrissy Polczynski, and great-granddaughter, Meta, of Reading, PA; granddaughter, Lauren Polczyski, and great-grandchildren Porter, Radnor, Winfield, and Kemper of Mt. Freta, PA; grandson, Benjamin, his wife Felicia, and great-granddaughter, Indigo, of Lebanon, PA; granddaughter, Avery, of Lancaster, PA.
June was strong in her faith as a Christian and was a long time member of Lord of Life Lutheran church. June loved her church family and was involved in many areas of church during her life. She traveled with her husband, Bill, as they developed Kellogg plants in 5 different cities here in the United States then finally settled in Memphis, TN.
Memorials may be sent to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, or Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
