June W. Haun's Obituary
JUNE WILEY HAUN, 85, died on December 4, 2013, following complications from hip surgery. The oldest child of the late Sam Stanford Wiley and Essie Berryhill Wiley, June spent most of her childhood years in Milan, TN and was a graduate of Milan High School. She was married to Cecil Robert Haun for over 51 years before his death in 1999. They lived and worked in Memphis all that time. They were members of Calvary Church of the Nazerene. June retired from St. Francis Hospital (Records Dept.) in 1993, and she had managed the beauty salon at Lowenstein’s East prior to that. June leaves a daughter Betty Milam; twin sons, Stan and Dan (Lynda) Haun; a brother Sam Wiley (Carol); four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her youngest son Don and her sister Regina Davis. June loved being with family and friends, and many of them affectionately called her “Mama June” or “Mommie June”. A visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 11 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow and burial will be in Memory Hill Gardens.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, (901)767-8930, “Behind the Stone Wall”.
