Julie was a special "friend" who loved life, family and community. She supported my family on many occasions. Whether she attended my son's state choir concerts (clapping and rocking along with the performers) or through prayer during my own loss - her kind soul was present. I will forever cherish Mrs. Julie Sutch and send my condolences to all who love her. May God bless and keep each of you.

Julie was one of the first people I met when I begin working in the payroll office at UTHSC in 1997. We had many chats through the years; so easy to talk with and to confide in. She was a beautiful and kind sou.
So thankful knowing she is with Jesus.
God bless her family.

Julie was a rare spirit in that one always felt safe around her. At work, if she didn't have an answer, she didn't treat one (me) as if I should already know the answer. She was the embodiment of Maya Angelou's quote in that "people will forget what you said and what you did, but will never forget how you made them feel." Her moral compass was palpable and I will miss the "lightness" that she brought to me...and others. Continuing sweet peace to her, her personal family, and her professional work colleagues ~ Jean Perdicaris
Julie was the consummate professional and a caring and loving spirit. We will miss her at UTHSC. - Jackie Cotton
My deepest sympathies and condolences to Julie’s family…….husband Don, daughters Jennifer & Stephanie and grandson Grant.
Julie has been one of my dearest & closest friends and UTHSC colleague for the past 35 years. She’s one of the sweetest, kindest, empathetic & compassionate people I’ve ever met.
I never heard her utter an unkind word about anyone nor did I ever hear her say a “bad” word. She was always thinking & doing for others rather than herself. In times of need, she was always asking her family, friends and even strangers “What can I do to help?”
She’s always been a calming force & voice of reason in my life both professionally & personally. Everyone who knew her loved her!
On Wed, 11/17/2021, I was honored & privileged to speak & say a few words of tribute to & about Julie’s 50th year anniversary @ UTHSC’s employee service recognition ceremony. What an incredibly successful professional career accomplishment & blessing! Julie & her family were watching the program via Zoom. I hope she realized just how much she was truly appreciated, respected & loved by her UTHSC colleagues & friends. She is and will always be a UTHSC iconic legend!
Julie has always been such a strong person and a fighter. This past year, she fought one heck of a fight but God decided this Angel on Earth was needed in Heaven! And God certainly got a great one, too!❤️
There will never be another person quite like her. She is one in a million. I’m so sad and heartbroken as I know her entire family is. I loved ❤️💛💜 her dearly.
Thank you, Julie, from the bottom of my heart for being a true friend to me for over 3.5 decades. I’m sure going to miss our talks, your advice, your life’s wisdom and your always smiling face! I’m a better person in life today from having known you as a true friend.
Her family are in my thoughts and prayers.
