Julian Crosby's Obituary
Julian A. Crosby of Bartlett, Tennessee met his Lord peacefully Friday afternoon, May 13, 2011. He is survived by his wife Beverly Bateman Crosby, his two sons, J. Anderson Crosby II and Allen C. Crosby, daughter-in-law Tiffany A. Crosby, two grandchildren Brooke and Clark, his sisters Bernie Crosby and Brenda Pearson Gurley, and many wonderful, caring family and friends.A respected Army Vietnam Veteran, he served actively in community service as a friend and mentor to others sharing similar life experiences for over 30 years. An active member of Ellendale Baptist Church, his life, work ethic, and attitude were an example to many, and he encouraged others to trust God for daily challenges.Visitation will be Sunday evening, May 15 from 5 – 8 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery on Poplar Avenue in Memphis. Funeral Services to be 10 am Monday, May 16. Family requests donations in lieu of flowers be made to the charity or service organization of the donor’s choice.
