Julia Alice Wright's Obituary
Julia Alice Wright, Memphis TNAlice Wright died peacefully on December 9, 2018. She was born in Crawfordsville, Arkansas on July 30, 1930 to Italian immigrants, Tony and Julia Jose (Giose). She was beloved by family and friends for her generosity, loyalty and sharp wit. She loved people and truly never met a stranger.She forged life-long friendships that spanned fifty years. Her ability to work full time and raise four children was a testimony to her dedication to purpose, sense of duty and integrity. She taught her children to respect others, work hard, and enjoy life. Most of all she was happy, grateful and filled with love for her family and friends. Remembering her feisty, fun loving nature will bring a smile to all who knew her.She was preceded in death by her late husband of 30 years, Ed and her sisters Mary (Ungarao) and Rosie (Martini).She is survived by her children Karen Wright, Gayle Beckler, Alan Wright, Mitzie Wright, her former daughter-in-law Sheila Wright and grandson Jacob Wright. She will be dearly missed by her family.The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, December 15th from 11:30 -1:30 with service to follow at 1:30. Interment will take place at Memphis Memory Gardens on Raleigh LaGrange Rd.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Catholic Charities of West Tennessee, Baptist Memorial Healthcare Foundation/Camp Good Grief, or a charity of the donor’s choice.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
