Julia Barrentine Jones' Obituary
Julia Barrentine Jones, 84 of Hernando, MS passed away on August 28, 2021. Mrs. Jones was born on October 23, 1936 to James Elbert Barrentine, Sr and Bessie Dillard Barrentine. Mrs. Jones was a longtime teacher with the Memphis City School system.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, James Elbert Barrentine Sr and Bessie Elizabeth Dillard Barrentine, 8 siblings and her husband, William.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her Children, William Greg (Wife Shelley) Jones, Angel Gayle Jones Kieffer (Husband Kevin) Keiffer, Brian Keith (Wife Renee) Jones. Sisters Jane Ramsey and Ann Underwood, brothers, Allen Spencer and Clyde Spencer, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, September 7 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 8 at 11:30 a.m.in the Fireside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park- Southwoods, 5485 Hacks Cross RD, Memphis, TN, 38125.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
