Judy Latrelle Percer Wilson's Obituary
Judy Percer Wilson, 82, of Germantown, TN, passed away on May 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ford Wilson, parents, Cham Percer, Sr., and Helen Hodges Percer, and her brother, Chammie “Cham” Howard Percer, Jr.
Born on March 10, 1944, Judy grew up grounded in faith as an active member of First Baptist Church, where she developed a lifelong love of prayer and devotion to her family. Her faith remained a cornerstone of her life, and she faithfully lifted her loved ones up in prayer—especially her cherished grandchildren, for whom she prayed often and with great care, including during her final days.
Judy lived a full and vibrant life as a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Her grandchildren were truly the center of her heart.
She had a deep love for travel and adventure, always eager to explore and make memories. Judy especially enjoyed road trips, embracing both the journey and the destination with enthusiasm. In her later years, she fulfilled her passion for seeing the world, traveling to several countries across Europe and taking a memorable trip to Argentina—experiences she treasured deeply.
An accomplished golfer, Judy was known for her powerful swing and often won “longest drive” honors in tournaments. She also had a love for sports and enjoyed following and cheering for her favorite teams.
At home, Judy found joy in her hobbies, including knitting and crocheting. She delighted in visiting yarn shops during her travels, always searching for new materials and inspiration. She also enjoyed puzzles and games on her iPad, excelling at crossword puzzles, Wordle, and Connections.
She also treasured time spent with her beloved dog, Rhett, who brought her comfort and companionship.
Judy shared 51 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Richard Wilson. Together, they built a life filled with love, music, dancing, and many happy memories. She is survived by her children, Janet Wilson (Stephen Haynes), Lisa Tarjan (Eugene) and Kevin Wilson (Lynne); her beloved grandchildren, Helen and Mario Tarjan, and Ava, Drennan, and Bailey Wilson; sister, Nancy Percer Kessler; and 11 nieces and nephews.
Judy will be remembered for her strong faith, her adventurous spirit, and the deep love she had for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
