Judy Hollingsworth's Obituary
Judy Carson Hollingsworth, 76, of Germantown, TN, passed away April 12, 2015. She was born November 4, 1938 in Tomato, AR to Maude Alma and John Thomas Carson. She was the youngest of nine children. She is survived by her children, Tom Hollingsworth (Pam Cogdal) and Jennifer Sherlock (Kyle); grandchildren, Chelsea Sherlock, Austin Sherlock, Carson Hollingsworth, Andrew Sherlock, and Parker Sherlock; and friend and companion, John Phillip Myrick. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her husband of 36 years, Paul Hollingsworth. Judy was known for her sense of humor, her love of life, and spending time with her many lifelong friends. She was a wonderful Mama Judy to her five grandchildren and will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, April 17 and funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, April 18 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
