Judy Cecilia Finley's Obituary
Judy C. Finley, daughter of Clarence and Frances Graves of Memphis, passed away Saturday,
June 18, 2022, at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Buddy
and her grandson Logan Norman.
She is survived by her brother Father Ed Graves of Little Rock, daughter Sonya Chamberlin and
husband Chad of Bartlett, daughter Cathy Finley Norman of Memphis, son Quentin Finley and
wife Minako of Japan, grandsons Brandon Norman and Kaleb Crabtree, granddaughters
Madisen Chamberlin and Lena and Lisa Finley and Harley, her devoted German Shepard, who
was always at her side and whom she referred to as “Son”.
Judy graduated from The Fashion Institute in Atlanta and attended The Church of the Holy Spirit
in Memphis. Her most recent and longest job was a bookkeeper at Tri-State Plumbing where
Buddy was a Master Plumber. Judy and Buddy belonged to The Grand Krewe of Sphinx and Judy
was also in a ladies Bunco group. She loved Elvis music, a passion she shared with her husband
and brother. She loved watching Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, The Voice and Dr. Phil.
She will be missed dearly by all that knew her.
The visitation will be held at The Church of the Holy Spirit on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from
4:00pm to 6:00pm followed by a rosary from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral Mass will be on
Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 10:00am.
