Judith Dewberry's Obituary
Judith was born to her parents, Archie and Vivigean Dewberry, on October 4, 1949. A small, close-knit family, Judith was very close to her older sister Cynthia. Shortly after Judith was born, her parents decided to move to Dallas, TX where they lived until Judith was beginning 5th grade, moving back to Mississippi when her father felt called to the ministry. In the ensuing years, Judith and her family moved frequently and thus she attended many different schools. Judith graduated high school in Okolona, MS. While attending Mississippi State University, she met and married the father of her two daughters, Karen & Therese, in what was a very volatile relationship. Judith started her initial job in the Sales department at FedEx on July 6, 1976. She divorced and moved with her two young daughters to Chicago, IL and continued work as a sales manager for FedEx. Shortly thereafter, she moved with her family to San Jose, CA where she lived most of her adult life and went on to work at a variety of companies and industries from sales of computers, electronics and sofas, to Adobe Systems operations to the San Jose Symphony. She loved living in California, collected friends everywhere she worked, loved live music, and most of all, she loved her family. She is survived by her daughters, Therese (& Jason), Karen (& Dan), sister, Cynthia (& Andy) and three beloved grandchildren, Karinne, Sean and Savannah.
