Judith Cassini Crook's Obituary
Judith Cassini Crook, born on November 25th, 1945, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 24th, 2022. She is now happy, healthy and whole, singing and dancing to her heart’s content. She is proceeded in death by her parents Joe and Mattie Cassini, her brother Joe Cassini, Jr., and her sister Nadine Miller. She is survived by her twin daughters Coni Mobley (Craig) and Cari Smith (Mark), as well as her brother Eddie Cassini (Eileen). She also leaves behind her grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart, Corban and Cassi Smith, and Marleigh Mobley. She adored her niece, Nadolyn Sledz (Carl) and her nephews Chuck Miller and Kenny Cassini (Jessica), aka “Mr. Wonderful”. She loved the travel, the competition and the wonderful friends that went along with chili cookoff competitions. She was often found “bopping” to her favorite tunes with her Memphis Bop Club friends (a life-long member, Member of the Board of Directors, and Grapevine Newsletter Editor for many years). She never met a stranger and was always the “life of the party”. Her smile that could light up a room will be missed, as well as her ability to make everyone laugh. She loved to share her beautiful voice in song, as well as use her God given talent to play the piano. She deeply loved her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. We love you Judi (Gaga) to the moon and back.
The Crook Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 1:00 pm till 2:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Graveside services for Mrs. Crook will be conducted on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery.
