Judge Michael A. Lasher's Obituary
Judge Michael A. Lasher, Jr., of Germantown, TN, passed away on September 15, 2013. Judge Lasher was a retired Federal Judge from the Bureau of Mine Safety. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Judge Lasher was a graduate from the University of Louisville Law School and practiced law in Phoenix, before becoming a Judge in Washington, D.C. and Denver. When Judge Lasher retired 20 years ago he moved to Germantown. He was an accomplished pianist and played until the day of his death. Judge Lasher is survived by his sister Carol Busch, two nephews, Dana Busch of Portland OR, and Bret Busch of Atlanta GA, and many good friends. A private graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery. The family request memorials may be made to the Memphis Humane Society.
