Juanita Black Tompkins' Obituary
Juanita Black Tompkins, age 93, died peacefully at the Christian Care Center, Sunday, March 7, 2021.
She was a native Memphian and a homemaker, the widow of Robert F. Tompkins, an agent for the former Commonwealth Insurance company. She was a long-time member of University Christian Church.
She was the mother of two sons, Robert Michael Tompkins of Memphis who preceded her in death, and Timothy Alan Tompkins of Arhus, Denmark. She is survived by one grandchild and three great grandchildren, who also live in Denmark.
There will be a gathering of family and friends Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 1:30 PM until 2:30, Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119. A celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 2:30 PM, Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN.
