Juanita D. Moore's Obituary
Juanita Donnewald Moore, 91, departed from this earth on April 26, 2018 at her home, with her family surrounding her. She was born October 10, 1926 in Carlyle, IL. She has resided in the Memphis area since 1957. A member of St. Louis Church since 1958, she sang in the choir, and served as president of the Home and School Association, She was also a past president of Madonna Circle. She traveled the world with her husband Bob. Juanita was a great fan of University of Memphis sports, and enjoyed attending basketball and football games until the end of her life. Her fun parties were legendary, and she made friends everywhere she went. Juanita is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Bob. She is survived by her seven children, Kim Sevier (Tom), Robin Ciancioso (Vince), Gary (LaRae), Chris (Linda) Lisa Sevier (Charlie), Kamlin Williams (David), and Alison Moore, 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, April 29 from 5-7 pm, with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be at St. Louis Catholic Church on Monday, April 30 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
