Joyce G. Stewart's Obituary
Joyce G. Stewart passed away on June 23, 2024 at her home at the age of 89.
Joyce loved having many beautiful flowering plants outside around her home and was certainly a horticultural expert when it came to the many plants she kept. She also enjoyed her hummingbirds coming up to feed outside their breakfast table window.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Max H. Stewart, and her brother Charles Scott.
She is survived by her sister Brenda Pope of Waxahachie, Texas; her daughter Pamela Parks of Rockwall, Texas; two grandchildren: Amanda Goodrich of Murphy Texas, and Ashley Hann of San Antonio Texas; and four great grandchildren.
Joyce will be entombed in the Memorial Park Funeral Home mausoleum next to her husband Max in a private ceremony on July 2, 2024. An open memorial will be held Monday, July 8, 2024 at Memorial Park Funeral Home with a time of gathering starting at 10:00 a.m. until the service time at 11:00 a.m. The services for Joyce will be led by a dear friend, Don McCraken.
