Joyce Lynn Spillars' Obituary
Joyce Lynn Spillars, 91, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on November 1, 2025. She was a longtime Resident of Memphis, Tennessee and member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. She was an accomplished pianist, had a passion for needlework, and earned her Master’s Degree in Microbiology. Traveling the world with her husband was a joy and it was easier for her to tell you where she hadn’t been than where she had gone. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on October 5, 1934 to Thomas and Dorothy Bridger.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Harold Statsul Spillars of 62 years, Son Douglas Spillars, Sister Carol Bartlett, and Grandson Albert Grasser. Survived by her Brother Tom Bridger, Sister Jan Gentry, daughters Laurie Douglas, Yvonne Spillars, and Leslie Davis, Seven Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren.
