Joyce Likley's Obituary
Joyce J. Likley, 84, beloved and devoted wife, mother and grandmother passed away on July 5th, 2012. She is survived by her three children, Beverly McClatchy (Pat), Steve Likley (Carrie) and Debbie Pacheco (Steve); eight grandchildren, Meg, Gray, and Mimi McClatchy; Huston, Callie, and Ellie Likley; and Stephen and Jackson Pacheco; and one nephew all of the Memphis area. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Glen E. Likley, her parents and sister. Joyce was born July 12, 1927 in Nashville, Arkansas to Arkansas State Representative and prosecuting attorney Jim Jackson and Clara Lee Jackson. She attended Sophie Newcomb College (at Tulane University) and graduated from Baptist School of Nursing. She retired from nursing at Baptist Hospital. She was a charter member of Shady Grove Presbyterian Church and a former Sunday school teacher. She was a current member of Richland Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be Sunday, July 8th at 3:00 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home in the Fireside Chapel. A visitation will begin at 2:00 pm. Memorials may be sent to Richland Baptist Church.
