Dear friends of Joyce,
As you know Joyce was a caring, kind woman. I first met her in 2014. The office manager of the condo introduced me to Joyce one day. He said, "You'll want to get to know Joyce!" She reached out and said, "Hi, I'm Joyce, welcome." Later, I realized the office manager was right.
I met Joyce next at the ongoing Bible Study. Her stories of her faith and welcoming spirit drew me and others to the group.
Many people at the condo asked Joyce to join them at the dinners we had at the condo.
Once, Joyce apologized because she had double-booked having dinner with two different people, me and another person from our condo. I was disappointed but glad that Joyce had so many people who wanted to spend time with her.
Joyce often spoke of her family. She cared for their/your well-being.
Joyce and I visited with each other more than several times over the years. I am ever grateful for meeting Joyce and for our time together at Bible Study, in visiting, and when dining.
When I heard Joyce had died, I was so sad.
Then I remembered these and many more good memories of her faith and love.
Best wishes to all who have lost Joyce,
Lynn Shuler
