Joseph “Jody” Higgins Morris, Jr., 85, of Knoxville, TN formerly of Memphis passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012, in Knoxville. He was a retired United Methodist Church pastor and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Nan Morgan Morris; son, Gary Nelson Morris; sister, Josephine Bowen; grandson, John Thomas Morris. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until service time at 2:30 pm, Saturday, August 18, 2012, both at Memorial Park Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
