Joseph Hargraves' Obituary
Joseph Rewis Hargraves, 66, passed away December 27, 2014. He was born on March 16, 1948 in Memphis, TN. He worked for many years with the Illinois Central Railroad and for WREC Radio. He attended Christ the King Lutheran Church. He loved to travel with his family, going on cruises, by rail, and road trips. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elissa Jones Hargraves; son, Bret Hamilton Hargraves; and mother, Ann Womick Hargraves. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Rewis Hargraves, Sr. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, December 30 and funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 31 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be sent to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation of West Tennessee. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
