Joseph Louis Cappadona Jr.'s Obituary
Joseph Louis Cappadona Jr. passed away on July 8, 2023, at 75 years old. Joe was born on August 30, 1947, in Memphis, Tennessee.
He graduated from Memphis Catholic High School in 1965 and went on to become a master plumber. He worked as a pipefitter and plumber for Local 44 and a maintenance plumber for the City of Memphis before he founded Most Dependable Fountains. At the time of his death, Joe held the position of owner/president at Most Dependable Fountains.
Joe’s hobbies included playing golf, working on and showing antique cars, and spending time with his friends and family. Joe Cappadona and his wife, Sharon, are members of Memphis Classic Chevys car club.
Joe was a loving husband and devoted father who is survived by his wife, Sharon Cappadona, his son, Brett Cappadona, his daughter-in-law, Dana Cappadona, his stepson, Eric Nichols, his step-daughter-in-law, Christina Nichols, and his grandchildren Joe Cappadona, Tori Cappadona, and Grace Nichols.
Joe is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Louis Cappadona Sr., his mother, Christine Marie Spinosa Cappadona, and his sister, Jackie Mahoney.
In lieu of flowers, Joe’s family asks that you make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00am - 11:00am. A memorial service for Mr. Cappadona will be conducted on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 11:00am in the Fireside Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
