Joseph Bowen's Obituary
Joseph Davis Bowen, Jr. 89, of Millington, TN began his journey into this world on July 22, 1927 to Joseph Sr. and Willie Myrtle Bowen. Through his travels he was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Marvin, Lorraine Deisher, Laverne Nelson, and Betty George. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Beatrice Bowen and daughter Rebecca Bowen. He is survived by his wife Rachael Bowen, his children, Paula (Royce) Darnell, Janis (Larry) Forrester, Tim (Susan) Bowen, Dan (Linda) Bowen, Hanna Bowen, and a special child, Bethanee Whorton, one sister, Anne Barnes and one brother, Ronnie Bowen, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a world full of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends that he loved and prayed for daily. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2017 also at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
