Joseph Malcolm Booth's Obituary
Joseph Malcolm Booth, 66, passed away July 3, 2013. He was born on November 18, 1946 in Vicksburg, MS to William and Elizabeth Booth. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carol Martin Booth; sons, Christopher Booth, Joseph Booth (Jamie), Michael Booth (Jessica), and Patrick Booth; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Pat Fulton, William Booth, Jr., Paul Booth, George Booth, Mike Booth, Jerome “Bubba” Booth, Peggy Rector, John Booth, and Peter Pikul. He was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Booth. He was a agent for Nationwide Insurance for 42 years. He was a graduate of the University of Mississippi and a member of Phi Kappa Theta Franternity. Joe was a father to many and a stranger to none. He was the vice president of marketing of the Rogue Soccer Organization and the past director of coaching of Collierville Lobos Soccer Association. He was a proud member of the Vagrants Soccer Club and will be missed by his countless mates. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. followed by funeral services at 3 p.m., Sunday, July 7 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Graveside services will be 3 p.m., Monday, July 8 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Vicksburg, MS.
