Jonnie Sue Brigman Kesler was born on September 1, 1950 ----September 13th, 2021. Jonnie Sue Kesler age 71, passed away Monday, September.13, 2021 in ChampionsGate Florida. Jonnie Sue (Brigman) Kesler was born in Covington, Tennessee on September 1, 1950 to the parents of John and Mary Sue Brigman. Jonnie was just a few days old when her mother passed away. Jonnie was raised by her stepmother, Evelyn Brigman, whom she always thought of as her mom. Jonnie suffered decades with several illnesses, one which was polio, her entire life. Jonnie graduated from Trezevant High school in 1971. Jonnie met and fell in love with with the love of her life Dennis Kesler. They were married on March 16, 1974 and were together 39 years before the death of her beloved husband Dennis. Jonnie was the proud mother of 2 children, a son Michael Kesler and a daughter Beverly Riley. Jonnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dennis, her parents, (John and Mary Sue Brigman), her stepmother Evelyn Brigman her in laws, (Lloyd and Anne Kesler), and a brother in law Allen Wilkerson. Jonnie is survived by her children, Michael Kesler and wife Jenni Rebecca, and her daughter Beverly Riley and husband Danny, her precious grandchildren Kelsey, Roland, Amelia and Peyton Riley. Her brother Keith (LeeAnne) Brigman of Henderson Tennessee. Her sisters Debbie Wilkerson of Brighton Tennessee, Sharon (Gary) Rowland of Henderson Tennessee, Marsha (Bobby) Hankins of Horn Lake Mississippi Janine Card of Millington Tennessee, also many nieces and nephews and friends. Jonnie was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, mawmaw, and friend but most of all she was a devout and faithful member Christian who loved her Savior. She was a member of Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Horn Lake Mississippi. Jonnie had a sweet and gentle spirit that was comforting to many. Jonnie loved all her family. Jonnie lived a good life, a hard life for most, but a happy life too. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day and not to me at all but to honor him and love his appeal. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
Mrs. Kesler's visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Twin Lakes Baptist Church, 5900 Twin Lakes Dr., Horn Lake MS 38637.
