Johnny Bayne Yarbrough's Obituary
Johnny Bayne Yarbrough was escorted to his heavenly home on March 29, 2018. Bayne was born November 27, 1939 in McRae, GA, to Ashley Yarbrough and Johnnie Mae Clements Yarbrough. Bayne married Patricia Miller on December 31, 1978, and together they shared 39 years of a wonderful marriage. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, brothers, Alan (Vicki) Miller, Michael (Jan) Miller, sister, Sue (Bill) Hendricks, sister-in-law, Zan Adams, niece, Valerie Miller, nephews, Greg Miller, Adam (Susannah) Miller and a very special great niece and nephew, Ruby Leslie Miller and Michael Banks Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ashley Yarbrough. Bayne and his wife were blessed to have two home churches, First Evangelical Church in Memphis and Seagrove Baptist Church in Seagrove Beach, FL where they wintered each year of retirement. He loved his SS classes, Men’s prayer breakfast and Bible studies and recently became a member of The Gideons. Bayne was a graduate of the University of Georgia and loved his Bulldogs. He served in the U.S. Air Force Guard after graduation. Bayne’s career was in Management in the finance industry, starting with GECC and then several banks as Region Manager and Vice President, serving as President of the Board for three State Associations (AR, TN and MS) during his career.
