Johnny E. Caviness, Sr.'s Obituary
Johnny E. Caviness, Sr., 77, of Eads, TN, lost his short but brave battle with cancer on March 25, 2010. He was a veteran of the Korean War, an advent horseman for many years and had a long successful career in the construction industry. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents William and Bessie Caviness and brothers, William and Randolph. Johnny is survived by his son, John (Margaret) Caviness, Jr.; three grandchildren, Trey, Meg, Ben, all of Memphis and his siblings, Nathaniel Caviness, Frank Caviness and Laverne Rush. He also leaves his long time companion Cindy Stewart of Eads, TN. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, March 28, 2010 with the funeral services at11:30 a.m., Monday, March 28, all being held at Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Wings Cancer Foundation or St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School.
