Johnie U. Johnson's Obituary
Johnie U. Johnson, 89 of Memphis, TN, passed away March 8, 2016. He was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Johnie retired from Velsicol Chemical Corporation. He was a proud United States Air Force Veteran. Johnie was a devoted husband to his wife Natalie Rhodes Johnson for 69 years. He also leaves sons, Michael, Joseph and Mark and their families, which include five grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 14 from 10am until 11 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119. A graveside service with U.S. Air Force Honors will follow at 11:30 at Calvary Cemetery, 1663 Elvis Presley Blvd. Memphis, TN 38106. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”
