He was someone I loved. He was my brother's Sunday school teacher at Eudora in the 60's a mentor and dear friend of my husband, Chuck Harrington (at whose funeral he sang after Chuck was killed in 1968), a friend of both my parents, a fellow choir member, and an important influence for me in my accounting career. My family shared a love of Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs. He was an exemplary man of God. His grandson Drew married my niece, Annalisa, several years ago and I met his great grandson, Ronan in 2024.

JT was my hero friend. John was my company and personal accountant for over 25 years, my deacon brother friend, my golfing buddy, and mentor - I will forever thank God for bringing JT into my life and for our bond of friendship that was a brotherly love. Some, not all, of my best memories were sitting in JT's office and sharing, laughing, and being best buds. JT was humble - one day in his office I notices a "Purple Heart" hanging on his wall - after asking who - he shared his and how it was awarded - But JT can I ask - "who is going to do my taxes now? :)" I guess what I can say in summary - I loved John Thomas and will forever be blessed because of him . . . enjoy Heaven, God, and Delores my sweet friend - I look forward to seeing you again - and fellowshipping around the Throne.... He loved my husband, Chuck Harrington, who was killed in Vietnam. He sang at his funeral and that was so special to me. I sang in the choir with John for many years after that. He mentored me as a young accountant.
