I just heard about John’s death. Although I have not been in touch with him since leaving Germantown, I remeber him as a great friend.
Played poker with John in HS; he was a good fellow; had to play across from him and he whupped me like a yard dog; he was a gentle giant when I knew him long ago. Condolences to the whole family.
John and Debbie were my neighbors in Bavarian Village years ago. I still remember Van’s birth and Meredith’s excitement of having a new little brother. My thoughts and prayers go out to Debbie and the children. John was a great friend and I will never forget those days of yore.Joey Abel
Johnny meant so much to me in college. I loved his parents and spent many hours with them. We were both only children and he was the brother I never had and I was the sister he never had.
