John Fred Robilio, Jr.'s Obituary
John was born to John Fred Robilio, Sr. and Rose G. Robilio on October 7, 1940.He was a Hall of Fame member and graduate of Christian Brothers High School in 1958. He later graduated from Memphis State University in 1964. Due to his outstanding achievements in football, he was named by Sports Illustrated “Lineman of the Week on September 23, 1963. Throughout his life, he was actively involved in sports and working with youths. John Fred was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and a Marine Corp Reservist. He was employed by various companies like Holiday Inn, Pepsi Cola, Crown Distributing and Phoenix Learning center because of his outstanding business and marketing skills.He was preceded in death by his father, John Fred Robilio, Sr., and his sister, Mari Angela Robilio.John Fred is survived by his sisters, Dena Lawing and her husband Al of Lexington, KY, Tonia Graf Robilio of Knoxville, TN and Nelsa Robilio of Memphis, TN. He leaves his brothers, Richard L. Robilio of Raton, NM, Ralph E. Robilio and Michael G. Robilio of Memphis, TN. He will be missed by numerous loving family members and devoted friends.
