Growing up, I spent lots of time over at their house during the summer. I can remember Uncle Wes taking out a massive pair of shark jaws to show me one evening. Through unplanned demonstration, he ended up showing me just how sharp they were when he lost his grip and a tooth sliced open his finger. I am not sure who was more surprised!
This is an easy one for me. One evening most of the family was gathered in the living area visiting. Wes was pretending his golf putter was a trombone and proceeded to paraded around the room playing to the music.
It was hilarious and we all laugh till our stomachs hurt! He was always entertaining but not needing the be the center of attention. Always a delight to be around!
Wes was my first boss, and could make you laugh after he made you think he was mad at you for something that you didn’t even know existed!! Then he would laugh with you!! You could always find him somewhere playing cards. But typing up his check rides for someone was a real challenge?? But I will remember him for having the faith in me when he said a job well done Debbie, job well done.
