Dear Debbie, I only met you one time when you and John came east for the for his father’s funeral. I noticed you seemed alone because you did not know many people. I approached you and introduced myself. My name is Delbert Maze. I’m one year older than John. My brother Bob Maze who lives in CA you know. John and I spent times together from youth to teenagers. The past decade was spent talking on the phone from time to time. I always enjoyed these moments. Back “EAST” the family always referred to him as “DR.JOHN”. John’s father and my mother Mary (Lindermuth) Maze we’re brother and sister. I will always remember you as a Lindermuth.
Deborah, I’m John’s cousin living in San Diego and had visited you several times when you lived in Carlsbad. John’s father and my mother were brother & sister and I ‘m also a Masonic Brother just like John,John Sr. and his younger brother Charles. Several weeks ago “Johnny” called me & told me about his health problem and asked me if I would call all the family cousins and inform them of his condition. I did this and incouraged all to send him thinking of you cards, however, I was informed that it was believed you had relocated to the old homestead in Linglestown and I believe the cards may have not reached him in time if the mail was not forwarded “My deepest regrets” My father died also of lung cancer and I thought Johnny may have 6-12 months to live. Sometimes life doesn’t seem fair when a Loved is taken so quickly! From all the Lindermuth Family and cousins We say may GOD bless you and your Family !!! Love, Cousin Bob & Jean Maze
John meant so much to me. I loved him deeply and trusted him at the deepest level. I never had a time that I walked away from a conversation with John that I didn’t feel better and a little closer to being whole. Debbie I will keep you close to my heart.
Dear Debbie,
We’ve never met, I’m one of John’s so many friends from Susquehanna Township High School. John and I reconnected upon
the passing of a mutual classmate, John Christmas. I just, sadly, learned of John’s passing from another classmate,
John Henry Wilkerson of San Antonio, TX.
Please accept my deepest sympathies on John’s passing, on behalf of yourself and your family. John was truly an amazing individual, greatly admired within our class and as a personal friend. I’ve been so very blessed to be his friend.
