John Preston La Forge, 87, passed away July 12, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. Mr. La Forge retired from Mobil Oil Corp. as a Field Support Engineer. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Ogle La Forge; daughter, Erina Van Horn (Danny); son, John La Forge (Angelina) and grandchildren, Peter and Danielle La Forge and Grant and Rachel Van Horn. The family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, August 3 at his Memphis Van Horn / La Forge home.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis TN, 38119.
