John William "Jack" Moore's Obituary
John William “Jack” Moore, 93, passed away March 2, 2015. He was born July 10, 1921 to Louise and George Moore. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Jack was the founder and owner of J.W. Moore Printing Company but preferred playing golf. He was the caring husband of Evelyn Louise Moore, his wife of 72 years who survives him, along with his children, Charles Ford Moore (Laura) and Gary Michael Moore (Debbie); five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Arthur Cary Moore (Peggy). Services for this Saturday have been postponed until Sunday, March 15. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m., and a memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Getwell Road United Methodist Church – Chapel, Southaven, MS. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119,”Behind the Stone Wall.”
