John E. East's Obituary
John E. East, 91, died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Germantown Methodist Hospital. He was born in Toccopola, MS on December 7, 1922. John was a WWII Army Veteran. He leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Martha Jean East; son, Bobby East (Rhonda). He also leaves behind 3 grandkids: Brad East (Khristian), Devin and Chelsea East, and 1 great-granddaughter, Tenley East. John also leaves behind his sisters, Betty Jean Stephens and Hortense Parks. He was preceded in death by his sister, Alta Mae Welch, and his Mother and father, Elba and Dudley East. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 5, from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 6 at 10 a.m. All services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
