John B. Eanes, Jr., 93, of Saulsbury, TN, passed away on Sunday, June 25th, 2017 in Bartlett, TN.Visitation will be 9:30am to 11:30am Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.Funeral services will be held 11:30am Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Sinquefield of Faith Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park’s Rose Hill section. John B. Eanes, Jr. was born in Memphis, TN to John B. Eanes, Sr. and Mary Bell Eanes on November 3rd, 1923. He graduated from Treadwell High School. He married Rena Faye Balch on October 3rd, 1948 in Memphis, TN. He worked as a Supervisor for Coca Cola Bottling Company, retiring after 42 years. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Army. He was involved in the American Legion, Post 198 Middleton, TN, and was a 60 year member in good standing with Unity Lodge #95, Memphis, TN. He was also active with the Forever Young Senior Veterans and made several trips with them.He is preceded in death by his parents, John B. Eanes, Sr. and Mary Bell Eanes; his wife Rena Faye Eanes, and son John David Eanes; sisters, Katherine Schmitt and Betty Stevens, and his brother Edwin Eanes, John B. Eanes, Jr. is survived by children, Bobby (Linda) Eanes, Debbie (Tom) Casey, Patty (Tommy) Shelton, his sister, Julia Eanes, 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Forever Young Senior Veterans, 185 S. Center St., #110 Collierville, TN 38017..
