John Morton Dobbins Jr's Obituary
John Morton Dobbins Jr., age 78, passed away on Sunday, December 13th at home in Gallatin, Tennessee with his loving family at his side. John was born to John Sr. and Vivian (Griffin) Dobbins on September 30th, 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee. John was an Air Force veteran, CPA and a loving Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. He was a well loved and respected member of his community.
John is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 53 years Sharon Dobbins. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Delvin) Sadler; son Jeff (Tonya) Dobbins; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday Dec. 18th at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis from 11:30-1PM with a graveside service to follow. In leu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the American Parkinson Disease Association (apdaparkinson.org) or the Parkinson's Foundation (parkinson.org).
