John Cannon's Obituary
John Phillip “Phil” Cannon, 62, was born in Memphis, TN. He was the son of William Carl Cannon, Sr., and Helen Holcomb Cannon. Brothers were William Carl Cannon, Jr. and Michael Steven Cannon. He was previously married to Mary Alyce Cannon (deceased). Phil was the Tournament Director for the FedEx St. Jude Classic for many years. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Brock Cannon of Collierville, TN; niece , Rachel Alyson Plant of Memphis; step-son Brock Kent of Memphis; and aunt, Edythe Freeouf of Bartlett, TN, in addition to many cousins and friends who loved him very much. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, November 1 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 2 at Crossroads Baptist Church.
