Joe "Mike" Stroud's Obituary
Joe Michael Stroud “Pops” Born 1-1-45 in Memphis to the late Bonnie Lee and Clara Duncan Stroud. He attended Central High School and Memphis State University. He was a 32nd degree Mason a reserve on the Shelby County Sheriffs Department and a retired District Manager for Sears Contract Sales. He leaves his wife Rebecca Brewer Stroud. His children, Angela Stroud Hilliard, Kevin Stroud and John (Jennifer) Stroud. He also leaves his grandchildren Justin Hilliard, Will Hilliard, Drew Mobley, Taylor Stroud, Jake Stroud, Savannah Stroud and Becca Stroud. One great grand child due in August. He also leaves a sister Barbara Shelton. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers. Pops lived for his family and dedicated his life to taking care of them! This isn’t goodbye we will see you soon daddy!Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15 from 1:00-2:00 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Burial will be private.
