She was born on November 11, 1946 in Memphis, Tennessee to Hency C. McCoy and Freddie W. Duckett McCoy.

Graveside Services for Joanne will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends for visitation from 10:00am - 11:00am in the Peabody Suite at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
