You will be so dearly missed, Aunt JoAnn. I was so glad to have more time with her in recent years, living close to her and her kids and grandkids, my cousins. She was such a sweet woman and a real original. So smart, successful, strong, and independent. A real role model. I’m glad she had such a wonderful life, and so sad that she’s gone. 🌺
I will miss all the fun times we had growing up together as sisters especially sharing a bedroom where we would talk n laugh for hours until Mom n Dad would come in and tell us to be quite n go to sleep. But the most fun we had was all our summers we spent at our little cottage in Fairhaven called “The 4 J’s “ named after us siblings: Jo Ann , Janet, Johnny, n Jimmy. We went there in June n never returned to DC until school started in Sept. we did that until we were old enough to get summer jobs.
Those were the days but the memories will live on in my heart. I only move to Tn because of you n I’m glad I had these yrs together. You had so many dear friends n you welcomed me into your group. You were pretty, had a great smile n most of all you had a great sense of humor. Rest In Peace now n give mom dad n Jimmy a big hug for me. I love you sis Janet
