Jo Ann McMinn's Obituary
Mrs. JoAnn McMinn went to be with the Lord Sunday September 8th 2013. Mrs. McMinn was born April 5th 1933.She grew up in the Shelby County area around Memphis,TN. Mrs McMinn married James R. McMinn September 1st 1951 and they raised four children. The two of them were big baseball fans and either listened to the St Louis Cardinals on the radio or watched them on TV when cable TV became to be available. Later they became Atlanta Braves fans. She enjoyed dancing, listening to country and big band music ,water aerobics. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Chode Charles Stacks and Beulah Mai Stacks, her husband James McMinn and two daughters Brenda Rawie and Cyndi McGrath. She is survived by her son Mike McMinn and daughter Debra Smith, ten grand children and sixteen great grand children.Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday September 11th at Memorial Park Funeral Home 5668 Poplar Ave Memphis, TN 38119.The funeral services will be the following day, Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the same location.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, (901)767-8930, “Behind the Stone Wall”Location: Oaklawn Arrow Color: Red
