We adored Jo Ann and loved seeing her when our family was home visiting Memphis. She was a joy to share time with and a gracious woman to all. Jo Ann would bring little gifts to my children (Lenora) and we would sit and talk about her children, grandchildren, Charles Stanley and anything else on either of our minds! JoAnn Johnson was a driving force for those surrounding her Always graceful, lovely and full of love for her family. One of my fondest memories with GiGi is when our family gathered at her house after Jay & Katie married to help pack and sort the mounds of wedding gifts. My daughter Chapin was three months old and we were shuffling her around amongst all of us to keep her occupied. I finally laid her on a guest room bed and Jo Ann said, “You better keep your eyes on her at all times, she is going to roll off the bed!” My daighter had never rolled over…. but sure enough, GiGi was right, we went back to check on her and she had indeed rolled over for the first time! Just one of the special times we have shared as a family with our sweet Jo Ann….love you to pieces…Kim Wilson Sprague
