Jo Bailey, 93 of Marion, Arkansas passed away January 22, 2017 in Memphis, TN. Jo and her husband, Norvin owned and operated Spotless Dry Cleaners in Cleveland, MS. After moving to Memphis she became a member of Berclair Church of Read Obituary
So sorry to learn of Aunt Jo’s passing. Harold and I were fortunate to be able to spend time with her and Mom Aldy in Memphis, Jonesboro and our home in St. Louis
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Bailey. I was a friend of her daughter, Donna, when I grew up in Cleveland a street over from them. I am sure heaven is a happy place now as she got to join her children. Many prayers and thoughts for her family.
Aunt Jo was full of fun. She always had a smile and a song. When my family came home to Memphis from Oak Harbor Washington there for sure would be a skib bo game in the plan of events and Aunt Jo, Aunt Mildred, Elsie Gore (my grandmother) were for sure in attendance. I am thank full for these memories. I was able to visit with Aunt Jo November 2015 with my mom Hazel Addington, my cousins Toni and Tara.
Lois Daniels would like to send her condolences to Jo’s family. Jo was a dear friend to both Lois and her late husband Louis. They met Jo when her father was the pastor at McDonald Grove in Mississippi. Our prayers are with you at this time of loss.
