Jim and I shared friendship and common experiences such as St. John’s, Conference Missions during his Lakeland Parish leadership,
and the Mason/Braden charge. On too of that, we were both Millsaps grads! In honor of his “green thumb”, I’m going to plant some vegetables next Spring in addition to financial giving in Jim’s memory. R. Mark Matheny
It was honor and pleasure knowing Mr. Stubbs. I was very saddened to hear the news of his passing. Me and his son James are close friends , and was very upset about this .Mr. Stubbs one of the nicest and genuine person I have ever met. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to the Stubbs family through the hard times of grief ahead. Eternal rest grant unto them, O lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
