Jimmy "Paw Paw" Searcy's Obituary
Jimmy “Paw Paw” Searcy, 66 of Bartlett, passed away May 17, 2017. Paw Paw served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He retired from AtoChem/Total Chemical and from Roadmaster of West Memphis, where he was an instructor; he was a former member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Bartlett. Paw Paw is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carol Searcy; daughter, Michele Watts (Scott); son Kevin Searcy (Leslie); sisters, Lucy Smith (Ray), Betty Biggs; four grandchildren, Samantha Searcy, Nate Watts, Thomas Searcy and Reagan Watts. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 20 at 11:30 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home, the family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:30 am. Burial with U.S. Navy honors will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the West Tennessee Veterans Home, Inc.“Celebrating Life….Behind the Stone Wall.”
