I was in Jimbo Hale’s electronic recording class at Kingsbury high school around 1990. I spent my first paycheck from a real job (at Wendy’s) on an Ibanez 12-string acoustic guitar he sold me. I still have it. Jimbo was an amazing teacher. He was friendly, supportive and talented.
I haven’t seen him in 30 years but will never forget him. I am very sad to hear of his passing, and send my condolences to his family and friends.
Jeff, so sorry for your loss. I admire your faithfulness to your Dad . I am sorry I cannot attend today.
