Chief Price, as I knew him, was not only an amazing Chief, he was a strong leader, and just a wonderful man. I first had the privilege of meeting Chief Price when I was home from a deployment and actually preparing to redeploy for another 3-month tour. I was flying with a C-130 Squadron and was biding my time in the hopes of becoming a Flight Engineer. Chief Price interviewed me and promised me a slot as a FE with the Memphis Belle Squadron upon my return. He would often email me during my deployment to see how I was doing and to reassure me that the position was still open, he was true to his word and I started my journey as a C5 FE with Memphis. It was a honor and pleasure to have met and served with such an exceptional aviator and gentleman, I am sure he touched so many lives in such positive ways through his time here. I personally will be forever grateful that I met Chief Price. I will keep his Family in my prayers ☘️
What a guy. Loved flying with him a lot in C-130’s in he 164th TAG in Memphis. Many fond memories I’ll always cherish. Miss him already. God Bless.
