Jesse Wayne Anderson's Obituary
Jesse Wayne Anderson, 91, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 in Florida. He was born in Mayodan, NC to his parents, Lawrence and Buela Anderson.
Mr. Anderson served in the Air Force for four years and also in the reserves for four years.
Wayne worked for Kraft Food for over 35 years as Vice President over Marketing Food Division. He eventually wound up running one of the largest food service business’ in the southeast United States.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ralph Anderson and previous wife, Barbara L. Anderson and step daughter, Linda Johnson.
Mr. Anderson was a loving father and grandfather, a golf fanatic and such a gentleman.
He is survived by his wife of Barbara W. Anderson, three sons, Timothy Anderson and wife, Debbie of North Carolina, Scott Anderson of Virginia, and Jeff Anderson and his wife Allison of North Carolina, granddaughter, Peyton Justice and husband, Jacob, of North Carolina, stepson, Shane Whitley and wife, Karin of Florida, and children and grandchildren, step grandchildren, Kevin and wife Pattie and their children and grandchildren, of Arkansas, Shelly Cole, and her children and grandchildren, of Texas, brother in law, Dale Watkins and his wife Anita, and their Children and grandchildren of Tennessee, sister in law, Julie Price and her husband, Jimmy and their children and grandchildren of TN.
He was a previous member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Collierville, TN and now member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Lakeland, FL.
A graveside service for Wayne will be held on Friday, June 23, @ 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. A visitation will be held starting at 1:00 p.m.
