Jerry Whitten's Obituary
JERRY WAYNE WHITTEN, 63, went home to be with Jesus on November 25, 2012, from his home in Bartlett, TN. Mr. Whitten was a born-again Christian, career truck driver, and served his country in the United States Army. He attended Providence Baptist Church in Bartlett. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Sue Whitten; sons, Brian Keith Whitten (Elaine), Sean Aaron Whitten, and Jeremy Todd Whitten (Angela), who all reside in Bartlett, TN. He was a loving ‘’Papaw’’ to four granddaughters, Taylor Boughton, Kaylie Whitten, Brylie Whitten and Tensley Whitten, and a grandson, Tristen Whitten. He is also survived by his brothers, Harold Whitten of Olive Branch, MS, Johnny Whitten of Bartlett, J. W. Whitten of Memphis, Robert Whitten of Savannah, TN, and David Whitten of Memphis, and sisters, Linda Goolsby and Norma Duke of Selmer, TN.
